At the 2012 Randal McGavock Society Dinner

I am a candidate for a M.A. in Public History with a Concentration in Archive Management at Middle Tennessee State University.  This portfolio includes my academic projects, my professional work, and my thesis development.

I received my B.A. in History with minors in German and English from Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee. Currently, I am the Assistant to the Archivist at the Williamson County Archives in Franklin, Tennessee.

The photographs in the header of each page represent different aspects of my public history training: the back porch of Carnton Plantation, floral arrangement from the Randal McGavock Society Dinner, the Maryland State House, the signature of my thesis subject, Ann Cochran Dixon, and a stained glass window dedicated to Ann Cochran Dixon’s uncle, Rev. John Roan.
